**POSITION** **DESCRIPTION**

**Position purpose**: The Food and Beverage Attendant is the face of the establishment, is to deliver consistently high standards in welcoming, hosting and serving all customers.

**Main tasks Core objectives include**:

- Able to be rostered on a regular weekly basis.
- Strong ability to learn, understand and memorize menu.
- High attention to detail and awareness to customer needs.
- Able to carry relatively heavy loads of plates and beverages.
- Able to recommend menu items catered to each individual customer/group.
- Able to effectively communicate with fellow team mates and manager.
- Able to maintain neat, clean and professional appearance in workplace environment.
- Highly proactive to meet, serve and assist customers as best as possible.

**Required qualities**
- Friendly, positive and confident attitude towards team and customers.
- Consistently punctual.
- Quick learning and highly adaptive to change.

**Desired competencies**
- Fun-friendly culture to customer and fellow team mates.
- Maintain quick service and attention to customers.
- Maintain store cleanliness and personal hygiene.
- Effectively execute tasks based on priorities(customer first -tasks second). Able to work under busy environment.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

**Qualifications**

Course completed in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) would be advantageous.

**Experience**

Relevant practical experience in a front-of-house position with the ability to display required competencies.

**Skills & competencies**
- Ability to work effectively without direct supervision
- Ability to sustain a proactive worth ethic through long and late shifts
- A polite manner, and a calm and professional attitude
- Excellent verbal communication skill (including a good standard of spoken English)
- Good mental arithmetics
