**THE COMPANY**:
Federal Government Department located at Lucas Heights.

**THE POSITION**:
This position is responsible for the procurement, purchasing and management of GMP and other reportable materials.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Successfully negotiate procurement transactions to satisfaction

Ensure the compliance storage of materials to meet GMP, WHS and other regulatory compliance requirements

Record damaged or loss of stock and materials

Ensure purchases are cost effective and compliant with Commonwealth guidelines

Regularly liaise with suppliers and clients regarding lead times

Successfully negotiate procurement transactions

Maintain accurate records pertaining to inventory and purchase information

Placing orders and data entry

**SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS**:
Demonstrated experience in inventory control

Experience in pharmaceutical industry products, highly desirable

Proven problem solving abilities

Highly developed verbal and written communication skills

Intermediate computer skills: MS Office and SAP

Technical knowledge and appreciation of supply and production processes, highly desirable

Competency to manage multiple change requests

Meet strict deadlines

Adhere to strict WHS

**WORK TYPE**: 12 months with view to extension - Paid as a Casual through Southside Staffing

**HOURLY RATE**: $42.58/hour (Includes Casual Loading)

**FULL FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED - Can take up to 6 weeks for approval.**

**MUST BE AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION AS WE AS BEING VACCINATED.
