Genus Industrial Services is focused on its core values of safety, integrity, quality and growth, our people and our culture are the cornerstone of our offering. **The Role** **Electrical Site Superintendent** will be responsible for: - Championing the GIS “Think Safe. Work Safe. Home Safe” initiative and ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of the GIS workforce. - Providing daily support, guidance and leadership to improve the Civil and Electrical Team performance. - Supervising, monitoring and evaluating personnel and subcontractors to ensure that all work is on schedule, to required quality and client specifications. - Liaising with Engineering and Project Teams, as well as external stakeholders and clients, to achieve the Project performance goals. - Responsibility for key project deliverables including: - Managing labour and equipment scheduling, costs and productivity. - Achieving contractual and commercial targets. **Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications** - Trade Qualifications in Building and Construction Supervision, Project Management, or equivalent. - Valid, unrestricted Electrical Workers License. - Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally as an Electrical Superintendent. - Valid Driver's License - "C" Class. - Strong technical, communication & interpersonal skills. - Excellent problem solving and organisational abilities with strong commercial awareness - Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of relevant electrical and construction Occupational Health & Safety, and familiarity with Australian industry regulations, applicable codes, best practice, and performance standards. **Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications** - High Voltage Switching Operator. **The Benefits** If after reading the details of this vacancy you feel you meet the selection criteria, and would be a good fit for the role, - _please select apply.
