**The Opportunity**
Are you an experienced Pharmacy Technician ready to take your career to the next level? We're looking for a passionate individual to become a vital part of our dynamic team at Slade Pharmacy, located within Mulgrave Private Hospital in Victoria.

This is a unique opportunity to gain highly sought-after hospital pharmacy experience while specialising in cancer care. You’ll work alongside a compassionate, multidisciplinary team delivering exceptional pharmacy services to both the hospital and its patients.

If you’re currently working in community pharmacy and eager to move into a hospital setting, this role offers a perfect opportunity as hands-on training will be provided to ensure your successful transition.
- Mulgrave Private Hospital, located in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs, is an acute medical and surgical facility with 240 beds, a 24-hour emergency department, and an ICON Cancer Centre. Owned by Healthe Care since 2007, it has provided over 35 years of healthcare services, including advanced cardiac care and a range of medical and allied health services._

**In this role, you’ll**
- Receive, dispense and supply medications for hospital inpatients and outpatients
- Assist in processing and maintaining imprest levels, and managing hospital ward stock
- Reconcile and manage prescriptions and patient medication discharge profiles
- Provide support to patients, carers and hospital staff
- Assist with retail ordering and reconciliation
- Assist with S2/S3 sales
- Process PBS claims and assist in producing medication profiles to hospital patients on discharge
- Confidently complete administrative and record keeping duties
- Assist with patient account enquiries

You’ll:

- Be driven by the desire to have a positive impact on another person’s life

- Be proficient in using FRED dispense
- Have knowledge of the PBS
- Have strong customer service skills
- Be adaptable with the ability to prioritise your workload
- Eligibility Requirements:_
- Previous experience dispensing medication in an Australian-based hospital or community pharmacy
- Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
- Knowledge of S2/S3 medications
