We are a fast-growing plastics manufacturer that has its products in all isles of the supermarket shelves. Our customers are some of the largest food producers in the world and they like working with leaders and innovators.

We are located in Melbourne's Bayside/SE suburbs and we've recently entered the IML food packaging space and have made a serious splash. This plant is absolute world's best practice and requires the team to match. If you believe that you can learn and then contribute to our vision then apply.

**Scope of the program**:
Vacupack has proudly hosted a popular internship program over the past three years. As we move forward, we are excited to announce that the scope of the program will be expanding beyond its previous limits. This initiative will provide interns with a broader range of opportunities to gain hands-on experience in various facets of our operations, enhancing their learning and growth in the industry.
- Learning how to troubleshoot Thermoforming, Injection Moulding lines and vision systems (Understanding the concepts).
- Learning how to change the die and tools on the machines and fundamental concept of operating Machinery.
- Standard Operating Procedures, visual and video SOPS
- Exposure to LEAN manufacturing principles and Kaizen and continuous improvement
- Motivated and proactive Mechanical/electrical/mechatronics engineering graduates.
- Must possess a keen interest, strong desire to form a career in the fast pace manufacturing plastic forming Industry.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent Mechanical aptitude.
- Good Computer skills
- Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal in English.
- Reliable, proactive, hardworking, puncture and discipline.
- A positive attitude.
- Be physically fit requirement including a variety of standing, walking throughout the day.
- To be able to attend 5 days/week.

This is an internship program, we pay $250 / week to cover your commuting expenses.
