**Our Client**
Our client is currently looking to recruit a Capital Equipment Sales Specialist to help grow their Australian Business. This is a key role that will be responsible for building new relationships and leveraging existing relationships. It will require someone who is commercially savvy and technically astute to be able to identify where opportunities exist and to provide assistance with the ability to propose customised solutions.
**The Role**
Reporting to the General Manager based in New Zealand you will be responsible for:
- Being proactive in industry sectors through trade shows, building relationships and learning where opportunities are in the market.
- Engaging with clients & customers to gain a thorough understanding of customer needs and develop and provide perceptive and expert solutions to their requirement.
- Maintain and service existing relationships as well identifying and building new relationships, always providing clear and positive communication.
- Manage client expectations through the entire process ensuring customer expectations are managed and met.
- Proactively pursue new business opportunities.
- Create, develop and build market presence.
- Manage the tender process for customer orders ensuring positive commercial outcomes.
- Oversee and review contracts and quotes.
- Participate in and support the commitment to health & safety excellence, complying with requirements and legislated obligations.
**Your Background**
- Relevant Sales & Marketing Degree, bachelor's degree in business or similar level.
- Significant commercial experience with at least 5 years sales experience selling Liquid Food Filling and Packaging Equipment or similar.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with a track record of being able to build and maintain external customer relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a medium sized business and work cross functionally with a can-do attitude and drive positive outcomes.
- Good entrepreneurial and commercial mindset with the ability to seek out, identify and realize opportunities.
- Collaborative in their style, inclusive in making decisions and problem solving with the ability to manage conflicting deadlines, priorities and multiple tasks.
- Strong communication both written and verbal including negotiation skills with an ability to engage, coach and influence internal and external stakeholders.
