As a key member of the Technical Centre of Excellence, the Administration Analyst focuses on supporting and implementing best practice outcomes across a wide range of Mercer processes and clients.

The Administration Analyst contributes to the development of system solutions and controls across the Operations business, including assisting with the development of appropriate training to ensure that consistent approaches and high-quality customer service is achieved.

The Administration Analyst ensures the solutions implemented into Operations are sustainable and are aligned with the strategic direction of the business. Other responsibilities include documenting and facilitating the introduction of new processes as well as supporting the business to improve existing processes.

A key expectation is that the Administration Analyst has the ability to solve issues with a “big picture” view of Mercer as a complete business and be able to provide advice to others in this area.

**What you need to have**:

- 5+ years or Corporate Superannuation experience
- Strong organisation and planning skills;
- Excellent analytical skills;
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and deadline driven
- Excellent knowledge of superannuation concepts, including benefit design - accumulation and complex defined benefit arrangements, plus insurance arrangements
- Excellent knowledge of superannuation legislation
- Knowledge of Mercer project management methodology
- Thorough understanding of Mercer’s Wealth - Consumer business specifically as it relates to the set up and ongoing management of clients’ schemes.
