Specialised Carer

HammondCare At Home is continuing to expand our services and we are seeking several permanent part-time Specialised Carers to provide support to our Clients across the **Central Coast Region**:
**Lower Central Coast** - Woy Woy, Patonga, Pearl Beach, Ettalong, Empire Bay, Point Clare, Gosford, East Gosford, West Gosford, Kariong, Niagara Park, Erina, Springfield.

**Central Coast**:

- Ourimbah, Bateau Bay, Killarney Vale, Tumbi Umbi, The Entrance, Kincumber, Bensville, Copacabana, Avoca, Terrigal, McMasters Beach, Killcare, Saratoga, Davistown, Green Point, Tuggerah, Chittaway Bay.

**Upper Central Coast - **Wyong, Wyongah, Tuggerawong, Canton Beach, Toukley, Lake Haven, Blue Haven, Charmhaven, Budgewoi, Halekulani, Norah Head, Gorokan, San Remo, Buff Point, Mannering Park, Lake Munmorah, Doyalson.

Our specialised carer receive a work mobile phone, paid travel time and kilometres. We have flexible days of the week as well as start and finish times, and weekend loading if you choose to work weekends.

**About the role**

In this role, youll provide essential and practical care to help older people live independently in their homes and directly improve their quality of life. The role requires travel to clients homes using your own car for which you'll be paid $0.99 cents per km plus paid travel time.

The care work you'll be doing may include:

- Providing personal care - helping with showering and dressing
- Helping around the home - meal preparation and light house cleaning
- Providing transportation to appointments and assisting with shopping
- Assisting with medication

**About you**
- You can relate to people and you're patient and solutions-focused.
- You may have previous experience in aged or community care or are looking to start your career in aged care.
- You have a valid Drivers Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance).
- Ideally, you'll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If you're not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help you.
- You'll be flexible around meeting the changing needs of home care clients.

You will be required to undertake a Police Check, Functional assessment, provide two referees and evidence of minimum 2 COVID-19 vaccinations.
