**The Role**

With over 5,000 Ha at Bigga, Reids Flat & Boorowa/Young, McGuiness Farms is a professionally owned family operation running a commercial self-replacing merino and lamb enterprise comprising of over 40,000 DSE. Contributing to the fine wool production there are substantial pasture improvement and cattle fattening enterprises across all 3 properties.

With the recent purchase of new property (approx. 1,000Ha) they are now looking for a highly motivated, self-reliant Farm Manager or experienced Senior Station Hand wanting the step-up to take the 100% management of the livestock operations, plus take on the property and pasture improvements to bring it up to high production standards.

You will enjoy working to a simplistic plan yet want to be challenged and learn to push the boundaries of production to extract the best industry results - using Lambpro genetics.

The role will suit an enthusiastic and out-going person with competent livestock experience, who understands the value of a close-knit unit, who wishes to gain further experience with a high-quality employer and build a strong career in the grazing industry.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Hands-on livestock management of lambs and cattle
- Animal husbandry best practice
- Stockfeeding
- Fencing & property maintenance
- Mechanical repairs and welding

**Key Requirements**
- Competent experience working with sheep and cattle
- Own working dogs essential
- Proficient in operating and maintaining farm machinery and motorbikes
- General farm management skills including fencing and welding essential
- A ‘can-do’ attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work unsupervised and show initiative
- Drivers and HR licence
- Must be able to have a conversation and laugh with the team and want to be part of a family orientated unit.

**Location and Remuneration**
- Highly attractive base salary (based on experience) + 3 bedroom house + power + work ute
- Young (20min), Boorowa (15min)
