**The Role**

This dynamic mixed farming operation with a focus on wheat, canola and prime lamb production is wanting to add a livestock specialist to their team.

The family properties are well established and located in close proximity within the Cootamundra district.

Already possessing a professional team that utilises modern farming techniques and industry leading technology to ensure best practice, they want YOU to be part of their progressive team that enjoys working on well-maintained farms with extensive improvements (under cover yards), and modern plant and machinery.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in a top-self family run operation running over 15,000 ewes utilising Primeline Lambpro genetics.

Their culture will suit a highly organised, self-reliant and enthusiastic person with sheep / merino experience and wanting to be part of ‘The A Team’.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Work with the owners in operational aspects of the property
- Assist with the management of the prime lamb operation and all aspects of animal health
- Involvement in feeding and animal health programs
- Water infrastructure, fencing & property maintenance
- Operate and maintain machinery for the broad acre cropping enterprise

**Key Requirements**
- Reliable and accountable with a willingness to learn
- A strong work ethic, with the ability to work unsupervised and show initiative
- A positive attitude and good communication skills
- Competent experience working with sheep and machinery
- Own working dogs an advantage but not essential
- Tech savvy (AgriWebb, TrueTest)
- The ability to work cooperatively with other team members
- Heavy Vehicle Drivers License (or willingness to obtain)

**Remuneration and Location**
- Attractive base salary (based on experience) + seasonal bonus + work vehicle
- Option of on-farm accom or live in town
