**About the role**

Reporting to the Technology Services Manager, you will provide technical support to the College to assist in the maintenance and installation of College technology with a particular focus on supporting school productions such as plays, assemblies, ceremonies and Speech Night.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Setup, operate and maintain audio, lighting, visual and other technical equipment for school productions and throughout the College.
Manage AV presentations for all main assemblies including the set-up of microphones, computer presentations and lighting.
Act as the College Videographer to edit and produce short clips working with both staff and students.
Mentor and supervise students in the setup and operation of audio visual equipment.
Oversee the installation of new audio visual equipment.
Provide hardware and software 'Help Desk' support for College staff and students.
Provide Help Desk Support on an ad hoc basis.

**Our Ideal person**

A degree in Live production and events, Sound production, or other relevant qualification/s (desired).
Minimum 2 years experience as an Audio Visual technician or related position.
The skills to maintain and repair audio visual equipment in a school environment.
In-depth knowledge of audio visual and computer equipment, including set up, operation and routine maintenance within a school environment.
Time management skills to manage competing priorities within class and event schedules.
Customer Service focus & excellent communication skills.
Adobe Creative Suite proficiency (highly regarded).
Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check & willing to obtain a Police Check.
A willingness to work outside regular school hours to support school events.
