The Roles

We have an opportunity for a suitably qualified, experienced and motivated individual looking for Full Time FIFO Maintenance / Utility employment in our Mining Villages within South Australia flying into the Coober Pedy region.

The Position is FIFO Ex Adelaide only on a 5 days on, 2 off then 4 days on, 3 off rotating roster and starting ASAP

Role Requirements
- Current SA Driver’s Licence (preferred)
- Current National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months)
- Experience working in a maintenance position (ESSENTIAL) preferably with all-rounder skills.
- When not busy with maintenance, additional duties will include kitchenhand, cleaning and / or house keeping
- Ability to work Night shift if required
- Trades certificate not essential but highly regarded
- Current RSA - Responsible Service of Alcohol (Highly regarded)
- Senior First Aid (not essential but Highly regarded)
- Previous experience working within a similar remote location (not essential but highly regarded)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging and time-sensitive environment
- Good knowledge of and a commitment to safe working practices
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical which includes drug and alcohol tests (LABDAS) ESSENTIAL
- Be physically fit to carry out moderate to heavy duties
- Good listening skills and the ability to follow instructions
- Be able to communicate in verbal and written English
