We're looking for a **Proposals and Communications Advisor**to join our South Australian Team.

The role will be responsible for the preparation and development of proposals that communicate clearly to GHD's current and prospective clients. With a strong editorial focus, this role focuses on the development and implementation of an engaging internal and external marketing and communication programs to support our brand and support the ongoing success of our business.

**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in**:

- Producing sharp narratives and engaging communications pieces for internal and external audiences
- Editing, writing and creating content for major and strategic proposals, and client communication
- Bid planning and coordination, encouraging adherence to best practice and GHD's Winning Work Process, including formal review gates and QA requirements
- Collaborating with technical teams on key messages and themes for proposals - facilitating/contributing to capture planning sessions, encouraging a client-centric approach
- Working with proposals team to ensure content is relevant and targeted, providing guidance on structure and responsiveness as well as writing proposal content and providing solutions to improve overall quality, responsiveness, communication and brand compliance
- Providing coaching and mentoring for key technical authors to improve the quality of content in proposals and other communication to clients

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, journalism or similar and 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated relevant experience in a communications or proposal lead role in a professional services firm with highly developed writing and editing skills. Facilitation skills also desirable
- Strong organisational and project management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks, competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strategic leadership coupled with having experience in facilitation and workshops is highly desirable
- Experience in inDesign is highly desirable
