**About the role**:

- You will be at the forefront of our culinary operations.
- Ensuring smooth execution and exceptional customer experiences.
- Working closely with our Executive Chef to help lead all Aurum staff.
- Excel in high-pressure and high-stress environments with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Foster teamwork and motivate the teams to sustain exceptional levels of performance.
- Maintain a high level of discretion and corporate presentation.
- Pay attention to detail in all aspects of Aurum’s functions and communication.
- Continuously improve practices to perform tasks better, faster, and more efficiently.
- Keep the ‘big picture’ in view to achieve the best outcomes for residents and customers while adhering to the budget set out.
- Drive for results and work to achieve high levels of personal and organisational performance.
- You may need to roll your sleeves up to ensure the smooth running of operations.
- Collaborate with the catering team to create exceptional experiences for customers and residents.

**About You**:

- Proven experience working in large hotels or multi-function catering venues.
- Advanced Microsoft 365 skills
- Willingness to learn recruitment and accounting software programs.
- 5-10 years of hospitality experience in a senior role.
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality or equivalent.
- Strong leadership skills and professional attributes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

**Conditions of Employment**:

- National Police Clearance.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Valid driver’s license.
