**Position: English Tutors/Teachers - Clyde North & Cranbourne**

Stem Academic College is a leading provider of high-quality, face-to-face tutoring for students from **Grade 1 through to Year 12**. With growing demand, we are expanding our team and seeking **dedicated English tutors/teachers** to join our centres in **Cranbourne** and **Clyde North**.

**About the Role**

We are looking for passionate and motivated educators who are eager to help students build confidence, improve their English skills, and achieve academic success. You will be teaching **small group classes** after school and on Saturdays, with a strong focus on literacy, comprehension, writing, and critical thinking.

**Requirements**:
We are recruiting for **two streams of English tutors/teachers**:
**1. Primary English Tutor (Grade 1 - Year 6)**
- Strong literacy and writing skills
- Ability to engage younger students and build strong foundational English skills
- Support students in reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and creative/structured writing

**2. High School English Tutor (Year 7 - Year 10)**
- In-depth knowledge of high school English curriculum
- Ability to teach essay writing, analytical skills, and critical reading
- Support students with schoolwork, assessments, and exam preparation

**What You’ll Do**
- Deliver **engaging and structured English lessons** in small group settings
- Mark and provide **constructive feedback** on students’ work
- Help students develop **effective study habits** and academic confidence
- Communicate progress clearly with both students and parents

**What We’re Looking For**
- Completed **VCE (Year 12) in Australia** with strong results in English
- Minimum **ATAR of 85+** (or equivalent)
- Currently studying or have completed a **Bachelor/Master of Education** (preferred)
- Previous **teaching or tutoring experience** (preferred)
- Strong command of English with excellent communication skills
- Punctual, reliable, and well-organised
- Valid **Working With Children Check (WWCC)** or **VIT registration**:

- Availability to work after school hours and on Saturdays
