**About the role**

We are seeking dedicated** Personal Care Workers**to join our Seniors Living team. In this role, you will provide direct care and support to residents, assisting them with daily living activities tailored to their individual physical, spiritual, social, and cultural needs.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver **personal care and emotional support** to residents, including mobility assistance, participation in activities, meal support, and social outings.
- Provide **medication assistance** as per competency standards.
- Collaborate in developing and reviewing **resident care plans**; accurately document and report any health changes to the nursing team.
- Uphold the **dignity, respect, and privacy** of residents, ensuring all interactions are confidential and compassionate.
- Maintain a **safe, comfortable, and secure environment** for all residents.
- Assist with **food handling, preparation, and serving of meals**.
- Perform delegated tasks as assigned by **Registered or Enrolled Nurses**.
- Work in accordance with the **Positive Wellbeing Model of Care**.

Your strong communication skills allow you to connect with residents, families, and colleagues, ensuring the highest standard of support and service.

Your experience and qualifications for this role ideally, should include:

- ** Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support** (Qualified Applicants);
- Previous **experience in aged care or a similar setting** is highly desirable.
- A strong **commitment to person-centred care** and ensuring the wellbeing of residents.
- Excellent **communication and interpersonal skills** to engage with residents and their families.
- The ability to **work effectively as part of a team** in a collaborative and supportive environment.
- ** Compassion, respect, and patience** in caring for elderly residents.
- Completion of HLTHPS006 - Assist clients with medication.
- Willingness to work a variety of shifts, across a 7-day week;
- Current National Police Certificate or the ability to obtain.
