**Job Description**:
**Overview**
- Assist our clients to understand how citizens think about issues, organisations, and events, and what influences their beliefs and actions.
- Working together with senior researchers and directors on managing the delivery of end-to-end custom research projects
- Communicating effectively to discuss research objectives with clients and colleagues, and translating them into clear, accurate questionnaires and reports
- Analysing and visualizing data to develop engaging and insightful reports in collaboration with colleagues
- Responding to fast-turnaround client requests, providing quotes, and writing project-winning proposals.
- Managing the research process including quantitative and qualitative techniques, data analysis and reporting.
**Qualifications**:
**Eligibility**
- To be eligible, you need to satisfy the following:
- Existing working rights without restrictions either in Australia or Singapore
- A strong understanding of Australian or Singaporean culture
- Good understanding and interest in either Australian or Singaporean public affairs, including policy and the electoral system
**Requirements**:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience (Agency or Academic research background are highly desirable)
- Good understanding of statistics and sampling methods along with strong numerical skills
- Although experiences on both quantitative and qualitative research exposures are ideal, we appreciate the majority would typically specialize only on either method:
- Quantitative specialists: experience processing survey data in either Q, SPSS or R will be expected. You will have extensive experience designing survey instruments.
- Qualitative specialists: extensive experience in conducting, reporting on focus groups, and leading in-depth interviews will be expected.
- Excellent written, oral, and electronic communication skills
- Results-driven with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet several deadlines by managing time effectively
- Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and numerical skills
- Proactive with a growth mindset towards learning and thrives on collaboration
- Inquisitive & Proactive - _you will be working with clients from all sectors, so you will need to think about what questions to ask and why_
- Effectively Bilingual (English and preferably an Asian language); Being multilingual would be highly desirable
