PremiAir is a fast-growing Hire/Service company that specialises in the hire, service and sales of air compressors, generators, lighting towers, message boards and traffic management systems as well as providing on-site refuelling. At PremiAir Hire we are committed to providing our customers with unrivalled service excellence and efficient solutions.

We are currently seeking to employ a qualified mechanical Service Technician on a permanent, full-time basis for immediate start to join our busy team based in Thornton:

- Qualified Vehicle Mechanic/Technician

The main responsibilities of the roles include:

- Repair/preparation of hire equipment and vehicles
- Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing a range of equipment and vehicles
- Ensuring smooth operations in the workshop
- Being part of a rotating after-hours on-call roster
- Other duties as required from time-to-time

We are seeking personnel with the following skills, experience and attributes:

- Must be Trade Qualified
- A forklift license is essential as is NSW White Card
- Experience with servicing equipment such as Compressors, Light Towers, Generators and/or auto-electrical experience is preferred
- MR/HR Truck License would be advantageous
- Test & Tag and Fire Extinguisher Testing Licences will be highly regarded
- Must provide own basic tool kit
- Has a valid and current driver’s license
- Can work unsupervised and can follow instructions
- Is self-motivated and takes pride in their work
- Is reliable, punctual and has excellent work ethics
- Works with a sense of urgency and a can-do attitude
- Is focused on providing the best service to our customers
- Can work overtime as required
- Has a stable work history and can provide previous work references
