About the role

We have a permanent, full-time opportunity available for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in our Newcastle branch, Thornton NSW.

In this role, you will also:

- Carry out Workshop based and General Field Service and diagnosis work on all Onsite Rental Group equipment
- Perform mechanical maintenance duties as per maintenance plans while upholding the integrity of the equipment and ensuring safe operation is not compromised
- Provide feedback for efficient maintenance planning improvements
- Record parts usage, equipment monitoring and time records.

Skills and Experiences:
Skills and experience

To succeed in the role, you will have:

- A mechanical trade qualification
- Strong diagnostic, fault finding and problem-solving skills;
- Current MR driver's licence with a good driving record
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Forklift Licence (required), White Card (required), EWP Licence (desirable)
- Auto Electrical Fault finding skills would also be an advantage.
- Exceptional communication skills with a customer service focus;
- A demonstrated commitment to safety with the ability to work unsupervised;
- Rental/Hire Industry experience will be highly regarded.
