M1 Traffic & Labour is a professional, experienced and safety conscious Traffic Control and Labour Hire Company.

We operate from several depots across the state, including Keilor Park, Noble Park, Shepparton, and Geelong.

Our business is primarily about delivering exceptional traffic control, traffic management and labour hire services in Civil, Commercial, Construction, Maintenance, Government and Event management.

We are currently seeking a **Depot Manager** for Noble Park.

**The duties for this role will include but are not limited to**:

- Forklift License (MUST)
- Mechanical knowledge (preferred)
- Managing the depot
- Movement of vehicles to site, mechanic or panel beater
- Checking Prestarts are done by TCs before morning/afternoon shifts
- Ensure any damages or issues mechanically are reported through to the Fleet Manager every morning/afternoon in a timely manner
- Organising, maintain and managing the control of stock
- Handling fleet management tasks
- Overseeing the reporting and compliance of fleet
- Investigating, problem solving and being involved in continuous improvement on all issues
- Liaising with suppliers and mechanics via phone calls
- Maintaining a high level of proactiveness
- Liaising with internal operations staff
- Assisting TCs to restock utes for shift setup
- When required assisting with general administration tasks
- Someone who is self-driven
- Can seek opportunity to improve the business as well as themselves
- Be mechanically minded to performing minor maintenance duties
- Excellent computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft word and excel)
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining KPI standards
- Able to build and maintain a good rapport with internal and external employees
- Work well in a team and individually
- Great attention to detail
- Customer focused with excellent time management skills
- Reliability with resilience
- Great can do, friendly, and professional attitude
- Must demonstrate a high level of initiative
- Possess Construction Induction Card (MUST)
- Hold a valid driver’s licence/HR preferred
- Be able to pass a drug test on request

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
