**FOR-DE Group distributor of the Shoprider Mobility & REDGUM Brands is an established leader in Manufacturing / Wholesale distribution in the Mobility industry and is seeking a motivated Service Technician to join the team**:
This role provides a great opportunity working with aged and disabled mobility products and suits trades from a number of different industries.

The role would include:

- Servicing mobility equipment in our fully equipped workshop.
- Diagnostic and fault finding on electric mobility scooters / power chairs
- Assisting our dealer network with product fault diagnosis and repair
- Monday to Friday span of hours
- Working with current service technician to cover the range of hours needed
- Tools provided onsite & in service van
- Metro area travel with company vehicle when required to carry out field service technician work.
- **Based in Malaga**_

**Trade Qualification requirements**

Mechanical or Auto Electrical or Electro Technology Servicing is a minimum however other trades may be suitable
- **Skills Requirements Include**:_

Strong Knowledge of 12 & 24 volt Electrical Systems including Electrical Motors / Wiring / Controllers

Fault finding skills with the ability to think through the problems to find a resolution.

Sound battery knowledge with experience regarding SLA/AGM/GEL/Hybrid and Lithium types of batteries. Awareness of characteristics of the chemical make up and how they are different from each other.

Mechanical knowledge for service & repair including tyres, wheels, suspension transaxles/gearboxes

Customer service focused attitude

Must have a drivers license for a manual vehicle

- Have the ability to self-manage workload in and out of the workshop and time manage multiple jobs

- Must have problem solving skills
- Ability to under take field service technician work as required
- Customer service focus

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $69,900.00 - $71,136.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Licence/Certification:

- Manual Driver Licence (required)
