**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**
As the Finance Officer - Payroll you will be primarily responsible for the accurate, efficient, and timely processing of end-to-end payroll activities, and for supporting the effective operations of the wider Finance function. You will also play a key role in supporting the ongoing improvement of existing practices and processes by identifying opportunities for efficiency, generating ideas and implementing solutions.

You will:

- deliver accurate and timely processing of end-to-end payroll activities
- respond to enquiries across the organisation regarding payroll and routine finance matters
- ensure integrity and accuracy of data by updating and maintaining financial management systems.

**WHAT YOU'LL BRING**
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a dedicated payroll role, ideally with exposure to other finance functions, including accounts payable and/or accounts receivable. You will be a good communicator with strong attention to detail and an ability to analyse and question data.

Your background will demonstrate:

- formal qualifications and/or certifications in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent workplace experience
- previous experience administering an end-to-end payroll function or similar role within a wider payroll or finance team
- your sound knowledge of financial principles and experience in accounting systems
- advanced and current experience using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and competence across the Microsoft suite
- your experience working within tight timeframes under limited direction within a team environment
- a keen eye for detail with experience verifying and interrogating data for accuracy and relevance.
