Automatic Door/service Technician

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Repair and maintain various door systems.
- Liaise with customers regarding repairs and Preventative Maintenance Schedules.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Complete company documentation through SimPro.
- Provide technical advice and support where needed.

Repair and maintain various automatic/mechanized door systems.
- Liaise with customers regarding repairs and Preventative Maintenance Schedules.
- Maintain accurate and updated documentation.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Ensure that designs and finished work are within specifications, regulations, and contract provisions.
- Complete company documentation through SimPro.
- Provide technical advice and support where needed.
- Select tools and equipment for tasks.
- Assemble and install new and modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools, controls, and hydraulic power systems.
- Estimate material costs and quantities, and machine requirements.
- Perform and direct field and laboratory tests.
- Collect and analyse data, carry out complex computations, and prepare diagrams.
- Organise and supervise inspection and maintenance of machines and plant.

**Key Competencies**:

- Experience with automated door services is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge and fault identification skills.
- High presentation standards.
- Competence in client communication.
- Ability to participate in after-hours call-out service on a roster basis.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Possession of an industry white card.

**Requirements**:

- Show flexibility in the work environment.
- Have strong adherence to OH&S policies.
- Be mature and capable of working unsupervised.
- Hold a valid driver's license (this an essential requirement).
- Preferably hold an EWP (Scissor Lift) license and a Restricted Electrical License.
- Preferably be able to have a working knowledge of Italian, as the majority of the products we install are made in Italy (BMP, MPM, LABEL, THERMICROLL).
- be a non-smoker;
- not using or ever used in the past any kind of illegal drugs;
- have a clean police record in Australia and anywhere else in the world if not born in Australia.
- Be either an Australian citizen or an Australian permanent resident.
- be currently living within 20 km from our head offices, or willing to relocate at his/her expense;

Pay: $52,500.41 - $113,259.67 per year
