We are seeking an exceptional communications professional to join our Education and Public Affairs team.
As a **Communications Media Officer** at the **Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission **you will hold a senior position in a small team and provide trusted communications advice to senior leaders and organisational business partners. You will take a lead in preparing charity guidance that is clear and legally correct, and also develop content in various formats in line with ACNC style guidelines, including communications to government.
You will oversee the production of publications and reports, and produce webinars and podcasts, translating complex concepts into materials for diverse audiences. You will be media savvy and adapt at scanning the environment for issues and risks.
You will be an excellent communicator with a growth mindset, willing to learn and take on various tasks and challenges. You will guide and mentor less experienced staff to help build capability and continuous improvement within the team. You will manage projects to improve communications or promote new products, programs or initiatives to charities and the public.
This role may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in **Melbourne CBD.
