YOUR NEW ROLE
The Distribution Centre Operator in conjunction with Team Leaders, Supervisors and DC Management is responsible for creating a safe and operationally efficient Distribution Centre whilst always utilising the correct manual handling techniques.
General Duties within Distribution Centre
- Work in all departments within Distribution Centre ( inbound, outbound, HD, FLF ) as required
- Unloading and loading of containers and truck both manually and with MHE
- Periodic stock checks
- Pre-start MHE checklists conducted
- Housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Use of other electronic equipment - ie scanners
- Work within a team environment
- Forklift operation
- Take direction from Team Leaders, Supervisors and DC management team

Specific Duties
- Uphold quality control techniques and procedures
- Accurate selection of product
- Identifying and reporting damaged product
- Monitor, measure and maintain standards
- Liaise with Team Leaders, Supervisors and DC management in respect to business operations, performance, and improvement

ABOUT YOU
- Experience in Warehousing and Distribution Environment
- Cert 111 Warehousing and Distribution
- WHS knowledge
- Forklift licence
- RF systems knowledge
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Basic numerical skills
