About the Role
As a Senior System Analyst working within the Banking and Lending tech stream, you will be responsible for the elicitation, refinement and maintenance of a technical backlog of work for the
Fabric engineering teams that drives uplift and extension of our digital banking capabilities. You will understand how to resolve complex technical and business requirements and translate them for different stakeholders and audiences.
There is an expectation that you will be comfortable working in a fast-paced software engineering setting alongside product owners, engineers, architects, and testers to drive capabilities across multiple value streams
What will your day look like?
Working closely with technical and business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements
Resolving uncertainty by actively seeking out and engaging with impacted parties both within and without the team
Collaborating with engineers to translate business and technical requirements into epics with clearly defined acceptance criteria, ensuring all business and technical outcomes are met.
Engaging with downstream and peer teams to ensure dependencies are understood and managed
Maintaining team backlog and facilitating team ceremonies such as grooming, backlog refinement, sprint planning, etc
Working with product owner, tech leads, chapter lead and delivery lead to ensure team plans are up to date and accurate
Making visible dependencies, risks and issues around delivery
What will you bring?
Proactive approach to work and the ability to work independently to achieve team goals
Understanding and knowledge of how complex backend systems operate and interact with each other
Strong interest and grasp of technical concepts and practices.
Experience working hands-on within agile, cross-functional, continuous delivery software engineering teams.
End-to-end delivery experience of complex system initiatives
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to quickly absorb new knowledge and explain it to other people
Strong business and systems analysis leveraging structured thinking, reporting and workflow modelling
Excellent problem-solving skills, you can find clear paths through ambiguity
