**URGENT NDIS Assistance with Daily Personal Activities & Social Support work**

2 VACANCIES:
1 X SOCIAL SUPPORT CARE WORKER - WALKERVILLE AREA

Casual hours: 3-4 hour/shifts (daytime) 3 OR MORE days per week. 10-1pm approx. WEDNESDAY

ACTIVELY Listen to clients stories,

Shopping

Make lunch, stay with her to ensure she eats the meal

Go out for coffee as required

Go out to lunch to a restaurant or cafe as required

Take to appointments as required

Must be of patient and kind disposition. Client can be moody

REPORTS TO: Support Coordinator

BRIEF

⮚ Assistance with Daily Personal Activities - to enable people with some complex needs to live as autonomously as possible - supports are provided by personnel with experience/qualification. You will be providing in home personal care & domestic assistance for our disabled participants. And taking participants to where they need to go.

**Duties**:
Medication assistance

Transport to and from appointments as needed

Cooking

Assistance with day to day living - where possible, capacity building in the participants’ life

Support to build independence and personal control

Varies in accordance with participants needs.

Other duties as required.

ESSENTIAL: Meet all NDIS reporting requirements.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Disability Support Worker - Minimum Cert III in Disability**

ESSENTIAL:
Current DHS Disability Clearance & Working With Children Clearance

Current First Aid Certificate & CPR

Current Manual Handling Certificate
