**The Role**

As the Cyber Security Awareness Manager, you will play a critical role in creating a cyber-safe culture across all levels of personnel across geographies through awareness, communication and understanding of cyber risks.

Key focuses of the role include:

- Assist with the development and implementation of cultural change through cyber security awareness program
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop training and communication plans for cyber security awareness program, including executive-level awareness, formal and informal training and events
- Create frameworks and measures to ensure skills and competencies of our people can be reported through qualitative and quantitative data
- Support the increase in cyber security and technology risk capabilities with communications and change-related activities and initiatives
- Acquire knowledge of significant trends, strategic decisions, legislative and governance frameworks related to information security, and successfully adopt them in the organisation
- Initiate appropriate strategic and operational responses to critical issues affecting the organisation and its technology
- Engage and influence at all levels of the organisation, technology and business, and create a sense of urgency to track and respond to fast-moving business threats

**You**

You will have a strong understanding of contemporary approaches to work and managing the implementation, operation and control of cyber security requirements required to deliver and support IT services and products to meet our business and IT objectives.

Other key competencies and experiences include:

- Accredited tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (Cyber Security, Information Technology etc.)
- Experience in cyber security awareness programs from development through to implementation
- Demonstrated experience in developing and generating cyber security reports using data visualisation tools with multiple data sets
- Advanced research, analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills, including the proven capacity to initiate appropriate strategic and operational responses to critical issues affecting the enterprise
- Ability to drive a high-performance team culture, shape strategy and drive long-term success
- Proven track record in successful delivery of projects and change management, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Extensive understanding of IT industry, technology trends, and best practices
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across business and technology teams, across a regionally dispersed organisation
- Demonstrated writing, interpersonal, presentation and consultation skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence and maintain effective relationships with senior and multi-disciplinary staff
