We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Kitchen Hand and Operations Assistant to join our dynamic team If you’re energetic, organized, and ready to dive into a fast-paced environment, this role is perfect for you.

**Role Overview**
- The Role: Kitchen Hand and Operations Assistant:_
- **Kitchen Hand & Food Prep**:Prepare and arrange cooking materials and food items, ensuring all ingredients and tools are clean and ready for each class. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- **Customer Engagement**: Be the friendly face at our events Engage with customers in a fun and welcoming manner to ensure a memorable experience.
- **Event Set-up and Operations**: Help set up and coordinate events from start to finish, supporting a seamless customer journey.
- **Stock and Inventory Management**:Track, order, and maintain stock levels for all classes and events, ensuring we’re always prepared.
- **Administrative Support**:Assist with basic financial tasks like cash handling, POS operation and checking in customers.
- **Social Media and Content Support**:Capture event highlights and help with social media engagement, providing our audience with a glimpse of the BBQ School experience.
- **Logistics & Deliveries**:Occasionally pick up or deliver items needed for events or classes, if required.
- Key Requirements_
- **Experience**: Some background in hospitality, event support, or kitchen work is preferred.
- **Customer Service Skills**: A friendly, outgoing personality to interact with customers and team members.
- **Tech Savvy**: Familiarity with software like Square and Rezdy, or a willingness to learn.
- **Reliable**:Ability to work weekends and have flexibility with shifts (Saturday and Sunday primarily).
- **Driver’s License**:Know how to drive (not compulsory)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Indooroopilly QLD 4068: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
