**ABOUT THE POSITION**

Indooroopilly Outside School Hours Care - Casual with option to progress to permeant part-time (30 -35 hours per week)

Come and join our friendly team in one of Brisbane's largest Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) programs.

If this sounds like you and you would like to be part of a team that is passionate about developing and providing engaging and fun programs 50 weeks a year, then we would love to hear from you.

Your responsibilities include:

- Preparation of sandwiches, fruit and vegetables
- Heating up baked beans, spaghetti and hash browns and similar
- Preparing alternative options for children with individual requirements i.e. medical conditions, food allergies and intolerances, food preferences and cultural considerations
- Ensure children’s health and wellbeing
- Ensure best practice food safety and hygienic standards are always upheld
- Ensure kitchen is kept to a high standard by providing a clean, hygienic environment for the preparation and delivery of foods
- Washing and cleaning of plates, cups, bowls and serving bowl etc
- Ordering of food and cleaning supplies
- Marking and checking off deliveries, putting away and rotation of new stocks
- Removal of rubbish

The successful applicant will have:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Effective communication skills
- A sound knowledge of food safety
- Attention to detail
- Positive attitude and professional manner
- You must have working rights in Australia
- Available to work Monday - Friday and during School holidays
- Food Handling certificate
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desirable)
- An awareness of your personal responsibilities under the current Child Protection Laws
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Police check

**Job Types**: Casual, Permanent Parttime negotiable

**Salary**: $30.38, Split shift allowance will apply
