**About the role**

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role is responsible for the procurement / vendor management of raw materials and indirect categories across their Australasian sites. Collaborating with the other internal stakeholders your duties will be

**Duties**
- Control the end-to-end requisitioning and purchase order process
- Ensure supply of goods is maintained for continuity and mínimal risk to operational requirements
- Researching and sourcing potential vendors
- Negotiating contract terms of agreement and pricing in conjunction with the Supply Chain Manager
- Developing and executing purchasing strategies and action plans.
- Drive continuous improvement activities throughout the purchasing function

**Skills & experience**
- Procurement and vendor management experience with a FMCG perishable commodity
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing advantageous but not mandatory)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organised, structured, can work to deadlines
- Ability to work independently, unsupervised
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
