One of Australia’s largest locally owned air conditioning manufacturers, providing heating and cooling solutions to homes and businesses nationwide since 1984.

They offer a wide range of award winning, energy efficient products, including split systems, multi split systems, ducted air conditioning systems and packaged air conditioner systems.

**About the Role**:
The Demand Planner is Responsible for planning and management of supply chain including sales forecasting, purchase planning and control. They will also prepare various sales/inventory reports for the purpose of stock planning & logistics expenses control management.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and facilitate pre-demand review meetings and state-based forecast meetings and agreed actions
- Coordinate demand plan inputs from state sales, major projects, marketing, and market strategy
- Use a segmented forecast approach across different channels using statistical forecasting and pipeline management
- Analyse and review sales trends on a monthly basis
- Develop consensus forecast in 12 months horizon, with input from state teams
- Review and sense-check market-based forecasts to identify anomalies or exceptions
- Manage demand inputs into S&OP cycle and action outputs
- Drive reduction in forecast error and eliminates forecast bias
- Review actual performance to plans to identify abnormal demand. Work with sales managers and major project managers to mitigate customer impacts of demand or supply events.

**Skills & Experience**:

- 3+ years demand planning experience
- Microsoft Dynamics AX experience if possible or similar (SAP)
- Power BI experience (preferred)
- Intermediate Excel Skills
- Analytical
- Autonomous
