Click here to learn more about how **we can make an impact together** For a sneak peek into life at allnex, don’t miss our **Operator Movie** **Position overview**: We are currently hiring a** Chemical Plant Operator **position in the **Alkyd **plant, based in our **Botany **site. This is a Full Time, 5-day 8 hour rotating shift role. Are you willing and able to work in shifts and are you looking to learn and grow? Then we count on you to help us ensure safe and reliable operations **Responsibilities**: - Pack and unpack products to/from containers of varying sizes - Ensure batch documentation, logs and checklists are filled - Operate plant equipment such as pumps, reactors, filtering equipment - Follow operational procedures - Quality control testing of finished goods **Required skills and experience**: - Previous experience working in a processing plant or similar role preferred (exposure to WH&D, Stores, Customer Service, Production activities) - Strong commitment to safety standards and customer service - Good housekeeping skills with a focus on quality and systems - Able to work reasonable overtime as required - Current and valid forklift license would be an advantage - High initiative and proactive with good rapport and ability to work with multi-functions - A strong work ethic and ability to work in a small team **Qualifications**: - Prior experience in (chemical) manufacturing is a plus **We offer**: - We are proud to offer an international working experience with a tight-knit network of employees, making it easy to connect and learn from people all across our different functions.
