**About the opportunity**

**_ Uniting have 2x permanent part-time opportunities working a minimum of 20hours/ fortnight on a 2 weekly 24 hour rotating roster ongoing roster._**
- **_Paying $30.92 (base) hourly rate_**:

Uniting is seeking dedicated and respectful Disability Support Workers to join our 5-person group home in Campbelltown. Working with participants on the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), you will positively engage people with various physical and mental health disabilities, contributing to making a meaningful difference by building their capacity with daily living, confidence in accessing the community and within themselves.

**Our service operates in a 24/7 environment, we are looking for flexible staff to join our committed team. Shifts will vary between 3 hours - 8 hours in duration.**
**_Additional - morning, evening including some overnight & weekend shifts can be offered._**
**About You**
- **Full NSW Drivers licence with fully insured vehicle**:

- Ability to connect and communicate with people living with disability
- Competent to support female participants with personal care and physical support
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, or equivalent (**_desirable but not essential)_**:

- Clear and effective communication skills and ability to establish a professional relationship with participant and their families
- Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care
- Experience supporting participants from Aboriginal and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds would be advantageous
- Current paid Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Check
- Current First Aid Certificate
