Currently, we are looking for an enthusiastic chef with experience to join our crew. The role runs over a five-six days a week. It is an easy to manage the kitchen with the majority of our cooking is done on latest American equipment’s.

Remuneration is based on level of experience

Burger Road
- Chef full time position:

- Ensure completion of all food preparation, set up and pack down of the kitchen and
- Coordinate and maintain the quality of food and presentation of all meals
- Conduct kitchen quality control measures including stock management, daily checklists and cleaning rosters
- Ensure company compliance of all OH&S/WH&S requirements including kitchen cleanliness and staff/customer safety
- Working on the fryer, larder and grill.
- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards
- Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
- Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs

To be successful in the above roles you will:

- Be a qualified chef - Punctual, organised and trustworthy
- Professional appearance
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to details
- Ability to resolve conflict in a constructive matter
- Ability to solve problems and think on your feet
- Willingness to take initiative and make decisions
- Previous grilling, frying, cooking experience
- Willingness to work in a fast paced environment with high pressure
- Produce quality product with exceptional presentation
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be reliable and have flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster including weekends, nights and public holidays
- Have excellent personal hygiene and presentation
