**St John of God Berwick Hospital, **has a total of 202 beds, eight operating theatres, a cardiac/vacsular laboratory and six birthing suites. provides a wide range of services caring for inpatients, outpatients and day patients across a range of specialties including maternity, medical and surgical; offering state of the art equipment and facilities to our rapidly growing community. Hospital has a 16 bed Critical Care Unit with 6 dedicated Intensive Care beds and 10 Cardiac/HDU beds. Our aim is to deliver the very best in health care at our Kangan Drive Campus.
- **Food Services Assistants** to join the Food Services team providing a responsive and distinctive food and beverage service at the highest level to all customers within statutory and legislative frameworks. This includes but is not limited to the delivery of service, food preparation, cleaning and assisting with the plating and delivery of meals.
- Positions are offered on a Casual basis, afternoons and weekend shifts available.

- Relevant experience in a Hospital food service department or within a medium sized kitchen environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of Food Hygiene procedures
- Food Handlers certificate Level 1
- The ability to work within the guidelines of an approved Food Safety Plan
- Demonstrated ability for adaptability and flexibility in practice
- Demonstrates an innovative and resourceful approach to problem solving
- The ability to work with a team environment and be a self motivator
- Understanding of customer service principles
- Highly developed organisational skills
- Demonstrated high standard of verbal and non-verbal communication skills
