**Disability Support Workers | Casual**

**Location: Joondalup, WA**

**About the Role**:
HealSoul is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate **Disability Support Workers** to join our team in **Joondalup**. This role involves supporting a younger participant and includes **split shifts**:

- **Morning shift**: 2 hours assisting with school preparation and drop-off
- **Afternoon shift**: 2 hours for school pick-up and community access (e.g. playground or library)
- A broken shift allowance will apply. Depending on performance, additional hours may become available._

You will be providing a mix of in-home and community-based supports that empower participants to live as independently as possible.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Personal care assistance
- Medication support
- Meal preparation
- Light domestic duties
- Transport to appointments
- Social support and community access

**About You**
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, or relevant qualification (e.g., Nursing)
- Minimum of 8-12 months’ experience supporting clients with high or complex needs
- Background in nursing or AIN roles
- Confidence in managing personal care and clinical support needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's licence (essential)
- Flexibility to work across a rotating 24/7 roster
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (HLTAID011) or willingness to obtain
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- Physically capable of meeting job demands, including manual handling
- COVID-19 Vaccination evidence (doses 1, 2 and booster)
