Ultimate Security Australia is a fast-growing security company providing end to end security service solutions to large customer base (both residential and commercial) nationwide. Our services include Back to Base Alarm Monitoring (Grade A1), one-stop-shop E-Security provider (design up to installation), Mobile Patrols and Static Guards.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team. This role is a permanent full-time position based in Concord NSW.
**About the Role**
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end Payroll processing for over 500 employees. You will have excellent award interpretation skills to ensure compliance and industry best practice. You will review current processes and data, with the aim of identifying gaps and use your experience to streamline processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for 500+ employees.
- Accurately interpreting and processing timesheets.
- Ensuring the correct payment of entitlements having regard for all relevant awards and agreements.
- Monitoring and preparing payroll related calculations superannuation, tax and salaries.
- Maintaining an up to date understanding of changes and amendments to payroll related legislation and policies.
- Maintenance of employee payroll information
- Address all employee payroll queries in a timely manner
- Manage documentation for RTW / workers compensation
- Weekly and EOM Payroll reporting.
- Prepare and maintain HR documentation.
- Ad hoc administrative and accounts tasks as required.
**To be successful for the role, you must have;**
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a managing payroll function with large number of employees.
- Comprehensive knowledge of agreements, modern awards and industry legislation
- Ability to implement and manage all payroll related processes
- Demonstrated experience with timekeeping systems and MYOB Payroll is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong reconciliation and analysis skills, with data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
- Understanding of HR administration requirements.
