An Australian Public Service role seeking APS3 Customer Service Officers
**Your new company**
A federal government agency recruiting for customer service officers in a well-established agency to join their team on a temporary contract initially for a 12-month with a possible 12-month extension. This department is one of Australia’s regulatory agencies who ensure national safety supporting business outcomes and services to organisations.
**Your new role**
In your new team you will have the opportunity to provide a high level of customer support with high motivation. This work will involve excellent customer service skills with strong communication and telephone manner. As a part of the team you will report to the Operations Supervisor completing daily tasks and projects for the agency.
Your primary responsibilities are:
- Providing high level phone and multi-media-based customer service for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and update accurate electronic records on customer contact in the database
- Liaise with internal staff and agencies associated with the Department
- Analyse information for query resolution
- Assist with any other projects and/or administrative duties as required
**What you'll need to succeed**
Your previous experience in a similar role within the Australian Public Service will lead to your success. You will have a strong track record with experience in customer service support and strong attention to detail.
Security requirements: You must be an Australian citizen and possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a Baseline Personnel Security Clearance.
