**About Microbiology**:
Microbiology utilises state of the art automation and technologies as well conventional manual methodology to generate clinically valuable information for diagnosis and treatment of infections.

**About the role**:
This position requires a suitably qualified applicant with relevant experience in a diagnostic microbiology laboratory to work full-time on a permanent basis.

Duties will include:

- **
Specimen processing using BD Kiestra automation as well as by manual methods**:

- ** Setting up Vitek and MALDI-ToF tests**

**About you**:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to support our expanding team.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- **
A relevant qualification and demonstrable Microbiology knowledge.**:

- ** Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.**:

- ** Demonstrable time management skills with an ability to prioritise and cope with stressful and emergency situations.**:

- ** Experience working in a diagnostic Microbiology laboratory including specimen setup/processing**
