We are seeking a suitably qualified welcoming, professional in **First Aid/WHS Officer**to join our college community. You will work as part of a collaborative team to provide first aid support to parents, students and school staff along with providing support to the WHS team.

The role is responsible for managing the college sick bay and ensuring all student medical records and processes are accurate and in accordance with BCE guidelines. The role also assists the work health and safety team at the school with reviewing risk assessments, performing safety inspections, investigating injuries to recommend improvements.
- Previous first aid/nursing experience, especially working with students in a school environment would be highly regarded.
- Work health and safety qualifications and a working knowledge in this area would be highly regarded or at least a keen interest to be trained in this area
- Ability to work independently and make firm and compassionate decisions.
- Ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced environment and be able to triage effectively.
- A calm disposition with a passion for helping others.
- Must hold current First Aid Certificate and Blue Card
- A high level of communication and interpersonal skills is essential.
- Strong administrative skills would be advantageous with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
