THE ROLE

As part of this role, you will have the unique opportunity to receive research and clinical mentorship from internationally recognized leaders in the field. You will also gain access to existing datasets comprising clinical, neuro-imaging, neuro-psychological and physiological variables, as well as to larger datasets derived from extensive international collaborative networks.

The successful applicant will have a range of responsibilities, including working closely with the principal investigators of the program, supervising junior researchers within the laboratory, writing up findings and analyses for submission to high-impact peer-reviewed journals, developing new research ideas with the team, presenting findings at local national and international conferences, and building and maintaining a reputation for academic excellence.

ABOUT YOU

The successful applicant will have a PhD in neuroscience, neuro-imaging, physics, biomedical engineering, or related fields. Have previous experience in neuro-imaging, with functional neuro-imaging being desirable. Have experience or basic understanding of statistical or programming software/languages such as MATLAB, R, or Python. Be able to manage large and complex research projects. Demonstrate excellent communication skills. Have demonstrated experience in all aspects of the research process, including study design and implementation, analysis, reporting, and publication of study findings. Have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise multiple competing deadlines. Have outstanding interpersonal skills and experience in establishing and maintaining strong relationships internally and externally. Demonstrate an ability to supervise junior researchers.
