**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity to join Box Hill Institute as our Training and Education Manager

The Training and Education Manager takes a leadership role within Box Hill Institute (BHI) to promote innovative technologies and design contemporary blended and online pedagogies for the delivery of TAE Products. Highly skilled in the integration of technology into teaching to meet current student expectations, the Training and Education Manager will position TAE product delivery at Box Hill Institute as a pre-eminent choice for TAE delivery through a range of activities including leading innovative and strategic practices, mentoring, management, networking and research.

The Training and Education Manager leads a team who deliver nationally accredited courses to clients in Australia and Internationally. They span a range of delivery modes and structures in alignment with demand. The position will be responsible for liaising with students, employers and relevant industry groups in identifying and providing training solutions to meeting clients’ needs. This position will also manage small commercial projects from time to time.

The Training and Education Manager manages the delivery of the external TAE Program and is a member of the Teaching Development and Innovation Team in the Academic Governance Division. TAE delivery sets the benchmark for the Institute in terms of adherence to educational quality standards, development of effective pedagogies and innovative business development

**About You**:

- Demonstrated experience managing and motivating a high-performance team of teaching employees, managing recruitment, performance, facilitating development retaining high-quality employees and providing feedback and coaching improving productivity and performance.
- Highly skilled digital literacy across multiple systems and programs including expertise with the Student / Learning Management Systems
- Proficient in the AQTF2010 and VRQA Guidelines for VET providers, with a solid understanding of legal and regulatory requirements in the VET context.
- Experience uplifting organisational capability and development of strategies
- High level, demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills including ability to solve operational issues
- Sound communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Encourages innovative approaches that exceed client expectations, challenges and supports others in delivering exceptional service, and promotes continuous improvement while effectively managing risk.
