**About the Role**

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our team at Kingsford in South Australia. As Machine Operator you will join the manufacturing team to operate and troubleshoot issues with a range of industrial equipment and machines, to support Ahrens’ manufacturing operations. Work collaboratively as a part of the Manufacturing group to ensure that delivery of manufacturing functions on time on budget and to a high standard of quality for clients.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Operations of a range of industrial plant and equipment, including CNC machinery, pneumatic systems, basic hydraulic systems etc;
- Read and interpret technical drawings as required to perform your duties;
- Troubleshoot machinery issues and act promptly in escalating any breakdown issues that may impact organizational efficiency;
- Ensure than onsite services are delivered safely and efficiently, keeping to schedule;
- Maintain general housekeeping around the manufacturing facility;
- Maintain strong work ethic and customer focus;
- Ensure all timesheets, records and other administrative functions completed by you are completed in accordance with Company Policy;
- Actively participate in team meetings and problem solving sessions;
- Undertake any additional tasks that are peripheral to your role directed by management.

**Skills and Experience**

- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn quickly;
- Demonstrated commitment to safety;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Understanding and ability to read/interpret technical drawings;
- Strong time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines
- Able to build effective working relationships with peers and stakeholders
- Strong Computing skills.
- Previous experience in a metal factory or production environment would be highly desirable
- Previous experience as Machine (CNC) Operator would be highly desirable
