**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting to the Group Accountant and with day to day interaction and communication with all operations staff. The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for the management of the Accounts Payable function. This role is part of the finance team and works closely with the Group Accountant to ensure the timely payment of all supplier invoices. The Accounts Payable Officer requires in depth knowledge of the operations of the business and experience with Corporate policies, procedures and processes.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Matching of purchase orders to supplier invoices
- Processing and timely payment of all supplier invoices
- Reconciliation of monthly supplier statements
- Processing and payment of all intercompany invoices
- Processing and setting up of all new vendors
- Filing of all invoices
- Reconciling credit card transactions
- Payment terms reporting scheme
- Other adhoc duties

**WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU**

To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following must-have qualifications and experience:

**Qualifications & Experience**
- At least 5 years in accounts end-to-end payable experience
- Previous experience with SAP software or other large ERP systems is essential
- Intermediate Excel skills are highly desired
- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills
- Requires excellent time management skills
