Groundskeeper - Farm and Gardens

Smith & Co are seeking an experienced Farm Groundskeeper hiring on a full-time permanent basis on behalf of out client located in Noosa Heads on the Sunshine Coast. Our client is a well-established privately owned Farm that has been specialising in breeding race horses for the better part of 20 years.

**About The Role**
- **$80,000** per year salary package
- Located in central **Noosa Heads**:

- **7:30 am - 3:30 pm** Monday to Friday
- No probation period - Permanent contract offered straight away

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintaining a safe working environment
- Quality control of grounds
- Mowing of general farm area, maintaining gardens
- Maintenance of paths & landscapes
- Weed spraying
- Hedging, edging, blowing, pruning
- Maintaining a safe working environment

Reporting to the Farm Manager, you must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team. You will be responsible for the overall upkeep and improvement of the farm grounds and gardens. You must be polite, enjoy working around people and be able to communicate easily and confidently. You will take pride in your work and appearance, be self-motivated, have an eye for detail, a passion for farm maintenance, grounds and gardens.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in Farm Maintenance and Groundskeeping
- Permanent Australian citizenship
- Looking for long-term employment
- Must be a Non-Smoker
- Presentable and well groomed
- Covid-19 vaccination
