
Garden Labourer

We are advertising to fill six (6) Garden Labourer positions. This role involves carrying out construction or maintenance tasks as directed by a supervisor, including landscaping, recreation facilities, fencing, and garden or nursery upkeep. It requires working with other teams across Council. The position may also be asked to perform other duties within the scope of skills and training. Flexibility and teamwork are key parts of the role.

- Confident with basic reading, writing, and maths skills, typically gained by completing Year 10.
- Hands-on experience in garden maintenance and small landscaping projects, with a practical approach to outdoor work.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team, showing initiative and reliability on the job.
- Holds a valid White Card, demonstrating awareness of construction site safety.
- Located on the picturesque far North Coast of NSW, bordering the Gold Coast.

This position is based throughout the Tweed depots, and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
