As we prepare to open our brand-new, purpose-built Epiroc Service Centre at the Olympic Dam Heavy Industrial Area, we are seeking Expressions of Interest for multiple permanent positions, including:

About the Leading Hand Role

As a Leading Hand, you'll play a pivotal role in the day-to-day leadership of service operations, working closely with technicians, supervisors, and management to ensure safety, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery across Epiroc’s range of underground mining equipment.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity to support and guide a skilled team in a dynamic and exciting new facility.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Lead and support a team of technicians in day-to-day maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with all OHS policies and procedures
- Troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and service Epiroc underground equipment
- Support component rebuilds, installations, and fault diagnosis
- Promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement
- Assist in scheduling, planning, and reporting of maintenance tasks

Your Skills and Experience:

- Previous experience as a Leading Hand or senior technician in mining or heavy industry
- Trade qualification in Heavy Mobile Equipment (or similar)
- Epiroc product knowledge highly regarded
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communicator with a proactive, safety-first mindset
- Computer literate with basic reporting and system navigation skills
