**Who we're looking for...**
We’re looking for a Research Operations Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for creating a first-class experience for our research project teams, participants and clients through well-structured and carefully executed research planning.
You will contribute to successful and profitable project outcomes, whilst ensuring client satisfaction and a supportive environment for our project teams.
**What you will do**:
**Support effective and safe research recruitment**
- Assist with development of research recruitment specifications, screeners, surveys, discussion guides, consent forms and data management processes bespoke to project needs;
- Manage all aspects of qualitative and quantitative recruitment with our recruitment partners, including budget management;
- Effectively prioritise tasks, identify and address blockers, and push recruitment forward from beginning to end with mínimal oversight; and
- Form good working relationships with recruitment partners.
**Ensure good governance of research operations**
- Manage participant data, while following our policies around data privacy and security;
- Develop meaningful relationships with Paper Giant’s research practice and project team members to ensure high quality research outcomes across the business; and
- Implement research operations process improvements in response to compliance issues or technology changes.
**Maintain a focus on ethics, purpose and care**
- Help us to design and build a positive, collaborative, inclusive culture; and
- Give thoughtful, constructive and actionable critical feedback.
**Requirements**:
**Essential skills and experience**
- 2 years of working in an administrative or coordination role, ideally working within a Research or Design Operations team in an agency or at a technology company or collaborating with research teams;
- Can manage multiple research recruitment requests with competing timelines and priorities simultaneously;
- Can communicate timelines, priorities, and requirements clearly and concisely;
- Can anticipate changes and quickly adapt your focus to align with team needs;
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills;
- Excitement to learn more about operations in an agency context;
- Willingness to help us to design and build a positive, collaborative, inclusive studio culture;
- Fluent in written and spoken English; and
- Full and current working rights for Australia.
**Favourable skills and experience**
- Experience working in an agency or consulting environment;
- Understanding of various qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and techniques;
- Experience working with recruitment partners;
- Experience with research tools (e.g. Qualtrics, Dovetail, dscout, etc.);
- Skilled in Google Suite, Excel and Slack; and
- Familiar with human-centred design methodologies and mindsets.

**Remuneration**:
The salary range for this role is between $80,000 - $120,000, depending on your experience.
