**About the position**

Our Wests New Lambton site is currently seeking a Part Time Patisserie Team Leader (Emporium 88) to join the Catering team. Emporium 88 is a Food and Beverage outlet located on the ground floor serving great food to our members, fast Menu includes pizzas, toasties, nachos and more to tame those late-night cravings. This opportunity is responsible and key to our front of house and back of house operations in our Emporium outlet. You will provide outstanding customer service whilst having previous experience preparing and cooking food. Duties will include:

- Assist with the supervision of staff on-shift in their day-to-day duties
- Provide friendly and efficient service to members and guests
- Operating and balancing of tills
- Preparing, cooking and serving food
- Assisting in back of house operations
- Ensuring hygiene and safe food handling practices are followed
- Making barista coffee and hot beverages

Please be aware that this outlet does require overnight shifts.

The roster for the part time role is close to 37 hours and includes weekend work (penalty rates apply).

Monday and Tuesdays OFF.

**About you**

You are someone who can work under pressure while at all times ensuring that our current high standards are met. Previous experience in a team leader or supervisor role is essential with demonstrated abilities in leading teams. A background in a similar catering operation or the likes of fast food chains is desirable. Along with good work ethics, you will have the ability to work in a team environment and excellent interpersonal skills. Your excellent customer service skills and problem solving ability will have you thriving in this position.
